Statistics - Session 3

The aim of sampling is to predict the behaviour of the population (the group of items/people about which information is being collected) using the characteristics of the sample. This unit considers ways in which you can use sample data to determine a range of likely values for the population mean, and to decide how probable it is that the true mean will be contained within this range. Null hypothesis, confidence intervals and t-tests are just some of the areas covered in this comprehensive unit.
